Global Air Quality Leader Secures €160M Taiwan, Romania Emission Reduction Projects
Our company, a global leader in air quality control equipment, has secured significant contracts in Taiwan and Romania. These projects, worth over 160 million euros, aim to reduce emissions and comply with strict environmental regulations.
In Taiwan, we've been awarded by CTCI to renovate the Talin power plant (2 x 800 MW). This project includes installing a seawater flue-gas desulfurization system and a baghouse particulate removal system, aiming to significantly reduce sulfur dioxide and particulate emissions. Meanwhile, in Romania, we'll install a wet flue-gas desulfurization system at the Craiova 2 power plant (2 x 150 MW) to meet European anti-pollution norms.
Our company's Director of Steam Activities, Andreas Lusch, has noted strong growth in environmental control activities in Asia and Europe. This growth is reflected in our global installations, which include over 360 baghouse systems, 95 wet flue-gas desulfurization systems, 1100 electrostatic precipitators, and 100 NIDTM systems. We're also the leading provider of seawater flue-gas desulfurization systems, with nearly 42 GW in capacity worldwide.
With these latest projects in Taiwan and Romania, our company continues to expand its global footprint, demonstrating our commitment to improving air quality and complying with stringent environmental regulations.
