Fresno Volunteers Aim to Bring Joy to 15,000 Children This Holiday Season
The Fresno chapter of Samaritan's Purse Ministry is seeking volunteers to help bring joy to over 15,000 children this holiday season. Led by Cortney Santa Cruz, the local chapter is part of Operation Christmas Child, a global project that sends gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need, along with a message of hope and the Gospel.
Volunteers can play a crucial role by packing and sending these shoeboxes. The national collection week for Operation Christmas Child is from November 12 to November 19, providing ample time for volunteers to contribute. Each shoebox can be filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, offering a glimpse of love and care to children around the world.
The Fresno chapter is aiming high this year, with a goal to support more than 15,000 children. This is made possible through the generous support of volunteers and donors. By visiting SamaritansPurse.org, volunteers can order free materials and start packing their shoeboxes today.
With the national collection week approaching, the Fresno chapter of Samaritan's Purse Ministry urges volunteers to lend a helping hand. Together, they can ensure that thousands of children receive a gift-filled shoebox this holiday season, bringing not just presents, but also the message of love and hope.
