At the XX Russian Forum-Exhibition "GOZAKAZ," Yevgeniya Gadzhieva shared details about advanced technology support measures. One such measure involves guarantees for projects on technological sovereignty and structural adaptation. These guarantees streamline loan procedures, with borrowers interfacing directly with their banks, as announced by Gadzhieva.
Gadzhieva also highlighted that these guarantees can cover up to half of the principal debt and the total program volume can reach 400 billion rubles. It's worth noting that 55 advanced technology projects costing a whopping 1.1 trillion rubles have already been approved, according to a VEB.RF representative.
These projects span sectors such as high-tech, pharmaceutical, medical, chemical, petrochemical, microelectronics, machine tool, shipbuilding, automotive, and energy engineering. Gadzhieva specifically named these sectors when discussing projects on technological sovereignty and structural adaptation, with a combined financing of nearly 3.8 trillion rubles. In these endeavors, VEB.RF's credit funds have contributed to seven projects totaling 234 billion rubles.
Aside from these advanced technology projects, VEB.RF employs various support tools. These include technology and detail reengineering with the Agency for Technological Development, preferential loans and guarantees for small and medium-sized enterprises, support for small innovative companies via the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs, and the purchase of imported components with the Russian Export Center's participation.
