Financial council of AAJ surpasses fundraising target during its annual gathering
In July, the American Association for Justice (AAJ) held its annual convention in San Francisco. Amidst the convention's various activities, a fundraising event took place, which surpassed its original goal of $4,500 by a significant margin, raising a total of $17,250.
Notably, Brian McKeen, the founder and managing partner of McKeen & Associates, took part in this successful fundraising effort. McKeen, who recently joined the AAJ's National Finance Council, used his platform to contribute to the cause.
However, it's essential to clarify that the fundraising event was separate from the panel discussion hosted by the AAJ Stalwarts/Hall of Fame Committee. The panel, titled Advocacy Track: Tradition Meets Innovation: Bridging Classic Trial Techniques with Modern Methods, saw McKeen share his insights on the classic perspective of direct and cross-examination.
Brian McKeen's participation in the panel discussion was not related to the fundraising event for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. The fundraising effort, on the other hand, was a separate initiative by the AAJ's National Finance Council.
Despite the distinction between the panel discussion and the fundraising event, Brian McKeen's involvement in both underscores his commitment to the AAJ and his leadership in its fundraising efforts. His active involvement in these events further solidifies his reputation as a key figure in the association.
