New Electrified Genesis GV70 Offers Premium Electric SUV Experience

The Genesis Electrified GV70, a premium electric SUV, is making waves in the automotive market with its impressive features and competitive pricing.

The entry-level trim of the Electrified GV70 starts at £66,000 in the UK and $64,000 in the US. In the UK, the middle trim starts at £71,000, while the price as tested for this model comes in at £81,185. The top-spec version costs £75,000 in the UK, and a staggering $109,660 in the US. The US market also offers additional trim options: AWD, Advanced AWD, and Prestige AWD.

The Electrified GV70's electric powertrain generates barely any sound and delivers over 400 bhp, ensuring a smooth ride at any speed. The battery capacity is 84 kWh, allowing the vehicle to travel up to 287 miles on a single charge. With ultra-fast charging, the Electrified GV70 can charge from 10 to 80% in just 19 minutes.

The 2025 Genesis Electrified GV70 features a refreshed interior, including a 27-inch screen on the dashboard, and an instrument binnacle that has been integrated into the display. The interior is designed with a focus on wellness, providing a relaxed hush when the door is shut. Notably, the boot feels quite shallow due to the high boot floor and low parcel shelf compared to other SUVs in its category.

The charging port of the Electrified GV70 is neatly disguised in the front grille, adding to the vehicle's sleek design. The 2025 Genesis Electrified GV70 has a completely different personality compared to its engine-powered sibling, offering a premium electric SUV option starting at around 65,900 euros.

In the UK, the Electrified GV70 is available in three trim options: Pure, Dynamic, and Luxury. The US market, with its additional trim options, provides a wider range of choices for potential buyers.

The Electrified GV70's battery has been upgraded from a 77kWh unit to an 84kWh unit, increasing the range of the entry-level version to 298 miles. This makes the Genesis Electrified GV70 a compelling choice for those seeking a high-performance electric SUV with a long range.
