Experienced Administrator Gani Maiybayev Appointed Deputy Akim of Almaty Region

Gani Maiybayev, a seasoned administrator, has been appointed as the deputy Akim of the Almaty region. Born in 1987, Maiybayev holds a higher education degree in finance from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

Maiybayev began his career in 2008 at the Almaty city branch of the 'Nur Otan' party, serving as the head of the accounting and statistics sector of the Bostandyk district branch. He later worked as a legal advisor of the Alatau district branch of the same party in different years.

In 2010, he earned a master's degree in 'basics of law and economics' from the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. He furthered his education in 2018, graduating with a degree in 'regional and municipal management' from the same institution.

Maiybayev's administrative roles have been diverse and progressive. He served as the first deputy chairman of the Medau district branch, the deputy Akim of Medau and Nauryzbai districts of Almaty, and as the head of the tourism department of the Jambyl region. Since December 2020, he has been the head of the culture department of Almaty.

Gani Maiybayev's appointment as the deputy Akim of the Almaty region reflects his extensive experience and educational background in administration and law. His previous roles indicate a commitment to regional development and cultural promotion.
