European Funds Recognition Awards 2025: Nominees for Exchange-Traded Funds
The Funds Europe Awards 2025 are set to honour the best European providers of both active and passive Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). Scheduled to take place on Thursday, 20 November 2025, at the London Hilton Bankside, the awards ceremony aims to recognise excellence in the ETF industry.
In the Active ETF Category, several providers have been shortlisted. These include ARK Invest, BNP Paribas Asset Management, DWS (Xtrackers), iM Global Partner, Invesco, Investlinx Investment Management, Janus Henderson Tabula, and J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
For the Passive ETF Category, the shortlisted providers are Amundi, BNP Paribas Asset Management, Global X ETFs Europe, HANetf, Invesco, KraneShares, VanEck, and WisdomTree.
The shortlisting process considers various factors for each category. For active ETFs, providers are judged based on strategy innovation, improvements to returns due to lower fees, corporate and operational innovation in support of active ETFs, and success at asset gathering. In contrast, the shortlisted providers for the passive ETF category will be evaluated based on strategy innovation, reference to tracking error, indications of good processes, enabling access to thematic opportunities, and the ability to confront difficulties with ESG investing.
