Equinor Awards Goodtech NOK 45M Contract for Bałtyk 2 & 3 Offshore Wind SCADA Solution
Equinor, the official contractor for the Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind projects in Poland, has reportedly awarded a contract to Norway's Goodtech. The contract involves the supply of the SCADA and control room solution for the operation centre of the wind farms.
Goodtech will provide a comprehensive Central Control Room solution, including a unified SCADA system, telecommunications equipment, and safety and efficiency solutions. The contract is valued at approximately NOK 45 million, roughly EUR 3.9 million. The project is set to begin in November 2025 and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027. Goodtech will supply complete control room equipment, such as operator workstations, large screen display solutions, KVM technology, and server room equipment.
The awarding of this contract to Goodtech signifies a significant step in the development of the Bałtyk 2 and 3 offshore wind projects. The SCADA and control room solution will be crucial for the safe and efficient operation of the wind farms. Both Equinor and Goodtech are expected to benefit from this collaboration.
