"Ekaterinburg welcomes a fresh addition with 'Midnight Place' passing Rospotrebnadzor inspections"
Fast Food Chain Midiya Place Expands in Yekaterinburg
Despite setbacks, the popular seafood fast food chain, Midiya Place, is set to launch another branch in Yekaterinburg's KIT shopping center.
Prepare to dig into mouth-watering seafood as Midiya Place, the federal fast food chain, will soon open its doors at Yekaterinburg's KIT shopping center. This will be the second outlet in the city, offering a unique dining experience while retaining the familiar charm.
Construction is in full swing, but the exact date for the second restaurant's grand opening remains a mystery.
Midiya Place specializes in a delectable array of seafood, featuring mussels, oysters, shrimp, fish, and more. Their wide-ranging menu also boasts soups, salads, pasta, appetizers, and beverages, making it a culinary haven for seafood enthusiasts. To date, the chain boasts an impressive 61 locations across cities such as Sochi, Moscow, Rяzan, Murmansk, Tula, Barnaul, Novorossiysk, Kursk, Krasnoyarsk, and many others. New branches are opened through franchising, with Yekaterinburg hosting one restaurant in the Greenwich shopping center.
Eager foodies in Yekaterinburg got a taste of Midiya Place on April 29, but operations came to a halt in the first half of May after customers complained of feeling unwell. An internal investigation, swiftly initiated by the restaurant owners, ensued, focusing on the kitchen and supply chains.
Legal action followed with the restaurant's temporary shutdown by the Leninsky District Court until June 7 due to discovered violations. Two employees were found to be carriers of staphylococcus, and substandard ingredients were discovered after lab testing.
The green light has been given for Midiya Place to resume operations in Yekaterinburg, receiving permission early after Rospotrebnadzor specialists confirmed that all reported violations had been rectified. With this positive assessment, the Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg lifted the ban on the restaurant's operations, allowing seafood lovers to once again enjoy their favorite dishes.
