Dubai World Trade Centre Hospitality Shines in First Half of 2025

In the dynamic world of hospitality and events, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Hospitality has proven its mettle with a strong performance in the first half of 2025. The division served a total of 527,000 guests across 1,401 events, marking an 11.8% increase in guests and a 6.7% rise in events compared to H1 2024.

The conferences and associations segment saw a notable 23% growth, with 57,289 guests attending 30 events. On the other hand, the exhibition catering sector served 132,146 guests across 50 events, more than double the number from the previous year.

The DWTC Hospitality division's non-exhibition events and external event services also showed strong momentum, although specific details about the number of guests or events are not provided. Nevertheless, it's clear that the division has the capacity to cater to up to 40,000 guests per day.

This impressive performance is a testament to DWTC Hospitality’s operational excellence and culinary innovation. The team's dedication and skills were recently recognised at the Emirates Salon Culinaire 2025, where they won 51 medals, including the "Best Effort by an Individual Establishment" award for the third consecutive year.

Looking ahead, DWTC Hospitality aims to expand its capabilities and infrastructure to meet the rising demand. This ambition aligns with Dubai's broader hospitality expansion, as the city has witnessed a 6% increase in tourists and expanded hotel capacity with new high-profile openings.

With its robust performance, culinary accolades, and strategic event partnerships, DWTC Hospitality is well-positioned to continue its growth and consolidate its position as a global leader in event hospitality.
