Dusty Robotics Enhances Floor Elevation Capabilities with Leica Absolute Tracker AT500

Dusty Robotics, a leading innovator in automated layout solutions, has expanded its product offerings. The company will now provide the Leica Absolute Tracker AT500, powered by Hexagon, alongside its existing robot tracker options for FieldPrinter 2 deployments. This integration promises enhanced capabilities and reinforced market position for Dusty Robotics.

The AT500, a portable laser robot tracker from Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division, brings several benefits to Dusty Robotics' floor elevation capabilities. It enables teams to measure flatness and floor deviations efficiently, with an industry-leading measurement volume of up to 320 meters in diameter. The AT500's compact form factor, robust durability, and seamless connectivity to embedded Linux operating systems ensure seamless integration with Dusty's existing robot systems.

Tessa Lau, CEO and cofounder of Dusty Robotics, praised the AT500 for reducing friction between digital models and field execution. She noted that it significantly reduces setup and repositioning time, improving overall ease of use while maintaining Dusty's 1/16′′ (1.5875 mm) accuracy standard. This integration strengthens Dusty's position as the only viable option for automated layout in mission-critical environments.
