The contract for the new school is scheduled to be awarded on the 7th day of the deadline, which falls in 2025, specifically on the 27th day. The project spans an area of 95,75 square meters and includes several facilities such as a library, playground, cafeteria, gymnasium, and a spacious playground.
The budget for this ambitious project amounts to 817,000 Zixi. The city council will make the final decision on the awarding of the contract, with a committee consisting of representatives from the municipality, the school board, and the parents' association evaluating the bids.
As of now, 1150 bids have been received for the construction of the new school. Interestingly, the Rudolf Hirsch company, which recently won a contract to build a new industrial park in the region, has chosen not to participate in the tender for the school project.
While the exact name of the school is yet to be announced, the community is eagerly awaiting the completion of this project, which promises to provide a modern, well-equipped learning environment for the students of Schwandorf.
