"Discussion on garage placement along Vilyuy railroad track causing concern among locals"

In Yakutsk, residents voice concerns over the potential removal of a garage parking lot situated on the 3 km stretch of the Viluy Highway.

Two local residents, V. Nikitin and A. (a labor veteran), have approached Sakhapress expressing their worries. For over three decades, this parking lot has been a common fixture, serving Yakutian residents with garages for rental.

Currently, it is managed by a private entrepreneur, yet the facilities lack essential amenities such as electricity and heating. Recently, the entrepreneur has posted notices regarding improperly placed large objects on all garages, including those constructed with wood.

This raises several questions, such as who is responsible for this change, why it is occurring now, and what measures will be taken for garages that do not meet the standard sizes. Moreover, there are concerns about the legal basis for this action.

The garlic issue seems complex, as per Yakutsk's Urban Planning Scheme, installing non-stationary objects, including garages, within the city is restricted. The area is currently undergoing a clean-up of metal garages, containers, and other non-stationary objects in an effort to enhance the city's appearance. However, authorities are hoped to make a decision that takes into account the needs of all parties involved.

Sakhapress will continue to monitor these developments.

  1. Given the current disputes over the removal of the parking lot on the Viluy Highway in Yakutsk, there is a growing interest among residents to investigate potential investments in real-estate, such as constructing or renting alternative garages that comply with city regulations.
  2. As the situation unfolds regarding the potential removal of the garage parking lot on the Viluy Highway, many Yakutian residents are considering finance options and looking into real-estate opportunities, like investing in garages with modern amenities, as a means to ensure long-term parking solutions.
