Denver Couple's Concrete Business Devastated by Arson, $10K Reward Offered
Denver-area couple Luis and his wife, owners of One Way Transport, are appealing for information after their family-owned concrete delivery business was targeted in an arson attack on August 23. The incident destroyed three of their concrete mixer trucks, valued at around $175,000, leaving them struggling financially with five young children.
The Quezadas started One Way Transport in 2020 after over a decade in the concrete industry. The fire, confirmed to be intentional, targeted only their trucks despite being spread across the yard. The couple is unsure who would target them and is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
A surveillance photo shows a single suspect holding a gasoline bottle. The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the incident. The perpetrator has not been publicly identified. The couple has set up a crowdfunding page to help make ends meet, with donations covering bills and the mortgage. Their insurance only partially covered the loss, leaving them out of pocket.
The Quezadas are urging anyone with information about the arson attack to come forward. The incident has left them facing financial struggles, with five young children to care for. They are grateful for the support they've received so far and hope that the reward will encourage more information to surface.
