Denise LeMay Assumes Role as Senior Vice President and Leader of Foreign Exchange and Derivative Sales in Commercial Banking at Eastern Bank
Business Wire has announced that Eastern Bank, a Massachusetts-based financial institution, has bolstered its capabilities in managing currency fluctuations and interest rate risks with the appointment of Denise LeMay as Senior Vice President, Head of Foreign Exchange and Derivative Sales, Commercial Banking.
LeMay, who brings over 25 years of experience in risk management and derivative products, will lead and enhance the bank’s offerings in this area. Her extensive background includes serving as Senior Vice President and Treasury Capital Markets Trading Manager at M&T Bank, where she advised clients on derivative use for managing interest rate risk and played a key role in the financial transition from LIBOR to SOFR. Prior to that, she led the Interest Rate Derivatives program at People’s United Bank, growing it into a major revenue source and serving on the LIBOR Cessation Steering Committee.
