Construction duties on the B 49 roadway, extending from the forested connecting mine-works to the Kleinlinden exit.
This weekend, Hessen Mobil will be conducting repairs on a section of the B 49 in the direction of Wetzlar. The repairs, which involve the renewal of asphalt, will take place between the Bergwerkswald Interchange and the Kleinlinden Exit.
The repairs are scheduled to begin on Friday, March 15, at around 8 pm and will last for approximately 3 days and 7 hours. A total area of 1,375 square meters of asphalt will be renewed during the repairs.
Due to the nature of the work, traffic on the B 49 in the direction of Wetzlar will be affected. The B 49 will be closed in this direction between the Bergwerkswald Interchange and the Kleinlinden Exit for the duration of the work.
Traffic in the direction of Wetzlar will be rerouted via the A 485 and A 45 to the Wetzlar-Ost interchange. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time for travel.
The responsibility for road repairs on the B 49 between the Bergwerkswald exit and the Kleinlinden exit towards Wetzlar lies with the local or regional road maintenance authority, typically the state's road construction department or the federal highway authority in Germany.
