Construction begins on new quarters at Wilhelm-Leuschner-Plaze
New Quarter Development on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz Kicks Off
The long-awaited development plan for the new quarter on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz is officially underway, with construction commencing as of this week. The project, which has been in the negotiation and finalization phase since 2025, promises to bring a significant transformation to the area.

The Leibniz Institute for Regional Research and the Global Hub research building will be the first to be constructed, followed by the construction of the Faculty of Law and the Forum of Law in the coming years.
