The 2026 GV70 comes with two turbocharged engine options: a 2.5-liter inline-4 producing 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, and a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 delivering 375 horsepower. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. Fuel economy for the 2.5T is rated around 20 mpg city / 28 mpg highway, while the 3.5T achieves about 18 mpg city / 25 mpg highway. Enhancements for 2026 include an updated drivetrain calibration for improved responsiveness, selectable drive modes with added Terrain Mode, and a new 27-inch OLED widescreen dashboard display.

Improved over-the-air update capabilities are available on both models. The new Terrain Mode allows drivers to tailor performance for snow, mud, or sand. The front skid plate, extended air intakes, and redesigned wheels have been updated on both models.
Genesis plans to expand its standalone retail network to 60 locations in three years, and the Canadian network of Genesis distributors now spans 30 locations nationwide. The 2026 GV70 and Electrified GV70 also offer customizable ambient lighting.
