In the upcoming weeks, passengers using bus lines F and FM in Darmstadt-Nord will experience route changes due to construction work at the intersection of Dornheimer Weg and Michaelisstraße. This work is scheduled from August 4 to 15, 2025.

To accommodate this disruption, an alternative temporary bus stop named "Moldenhauerweg" has been set up on Michaelisstraße just before the Dornheimer Weg/Michaelisstraße intersection at approximately house number 6. Passengers should expect to board or alight at Moldenhauerweg instead of the original stops near this intersection during this period.

The HEAG (Darmstadt's public transportation provider) has announced that the "Moldenhauerweg" stop has been moved to Dornheimer Weg at house number 40. In the opposite direction, the buses will first stop at the main station in front of the Kinopolis in the Goebelstraße. It is worth noting that the buses will pass the "Moldenhauerweg" stop without stopping, in the opposite direction.

Another significant change affects the "Haasstraße" stop. In the direction of Oberwaldhaus, Messel, and Urberach, the boarding point at the "Haasstraße" stop will be moved to Staudingerstraße at house number five. Passengers should remain on the bus at the "Haasstraße" end stop and disembark at the "Kölner Straße" stop on their return journey towards Oberwaldhaus, Messel, or Urberach.

The "Rodensteinweg/Altes Schalthaus" stop cannot be served due to construction work, and the "Kölner Straße" stop will have specific service hours during this period. On weekdays before 07:30 and after 21:00, the "Kölner Straße" stop will not be served.

As an alternative, the F and FM buses will stop on the west side of the main station under the bridge. Passengers should check the RMV official website or local signage closer to or during the construction period for the most precise and updated route instructions and schedules.

Finally, the "Im Harras" stop is temporarily located in front of the entrance to the Starkenburg-Kaserne. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra time for travel during this period.

In light of the aforementioned route changes, passengers may find it beneficial to explore alternative transportation methods within the Other industry, such as carpooling or bike-sharing services, to avoid delays caused by public-transit disruptions. Additionally, given the financial implications of these alterations on businesses that rely heavily on public-transit transportation, it's crucial for the finance sector to consider offering support or incentives to help offset any unexpected costs incurred.
