Building of Metro commence in Krasnoyarsk and construction in Nikolaevka

In Krasnoyarsk, construction is underway on a new tunnel ventilation shaft for the metrotram. This project, located in Nikolayevka, is part of the preparations for digging tunnels from the railway station to ul. Kopylova.

Recently, the project's design and cost documentation for the preparatory work leading up to the tunnel dig received government approval. This news was shared by the main contractor for the Krasnoyarsk metrotram, "Mosproekt-3."

According to Konstantin Matveyev, the CEO of "Mosproekt-3," the complex engineering work required for excavating horizontal sections of the tunnels between the stopping point "Vokzalnaya" and the station "Ulitsa Kopylova," as part of the project to prepare the site for the construction of the ventilation shaft, will be carried out.

Ventilation shafts are crucial both during tunnel construction and the operation of the metrotram, serving as air exchange channels.

As per the project plan, the construction site will be set up in the Railway District along Socialist Street.

First, archeological research will be conducted at the future location of the ventilation equipment. Afterward, workers will convert approximately 70 meters of city sewer pipes and install drainage wells. This will be followed by establishing fences with drilling piles and excavating the soil.

These activities mark the initial phase of the metrotram construction, which will feature a total line length of 11 kilometers. The line will have five underground stations: "Vysotnaya," "Ulitsa Kopylova," "Vokzalnaya," "Ploshad Revolucii," "Ulitsa Karla Marksa" and one above-ground station: "Ulitsa Shahterov."

Currently, work continues in the city to excavate tunnels from the airport towards the station "Ulitsa Karl Marks." Also, a few days ago, large components of the tunnel-boring machine "Anastasia" were transported to Ploshad Revolutsiya. This machine will be used to dig tunnels to the railway station.

In summary, the construction of ventilation shafts for the Krasnoyarsk metrotram is an essential part of the project, involving numerous components like project details, timeline, and impact on other infrastructure. The design of the shafts, selection of materials, and location must ensure structural integrity, efficient airflow management, and minimal disruptions to traffic and local ecosystems. The timeline involves a planning phase, construction phase, and a testing and commissioning phase, while community engagement is crucial to minimize potential concerns among residents.

In light of the ongoing development of the Krasnoyarsk metrotram, the latest news shares that the finance industry will be investing in the public-transit sector, with the construction of ventilation shafts forming a significant part of the project. The complex engineering work required in the finance and industry sectors for transportation infrastructure, such as the metrotram, will involve excavation of the ventilation shafts and ensuring minimal disruptions to other city infrastructure.
