BPI Implements PHP 15 Fee for GCash Cash-In via InstaPay from Oct 1, 2025
Starting October 1, 2025, GCash users will experience a change in cash-in transactions via InstaPay. PNC Bank has announced it will implement a standard PHP 15 service fee for all such transactions, while GCash will not charge any additional fees. PNC Bank clients can still transfer funds to their GCash wallet at a lower PHP 10 fee directly from the PNC Bank mobile app. This change aligns with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas' (BSP) directive to enhance fund transfer speed, safety, and transparency. Additionally, PNC Bank clients can open a PNC Bank #MySaveUp account through the GCash app for zero-fee transfers into their GCash wallet. As of now, no other banks like US Bank or BOA have officially announced similar fee changes for GCash cash-in transactions via InstaPay. Users are advised to keep an eye on official bank and GCash communications for updates.
