Belarus Updates Precious Metal Prices for October 2025
The State Fund of Belarus has updated the calculated prices for precious metals, effective immediately. The new rates, announced on October 1, 2025, reflect the current market values of these metals in Belarusian rubles, influenced by the stock market today.
Among the updates, silver has seen a slight increase to 4.36 Belarusian rubles per gram of pure metal, up from its previous rate. Meanwhile, gold has been priced at 359.41 rubles per gram, reflecting its international market value, which is closely tied to the stock market.
Iridium, known for its rarity and high density, is now valued at 444.22 rubles per gram. Platinum, both in pure and alloyed forms, has been priced at 145.86 and 145.78 rubles per gram respectively. Palladium, another valuable metal, is now 116.21 rubles per gram.
Osmium, ruthenium, and rhodium have been priced at 37.81, 87.90, and 150.20 rubles per gram respectively, reflecting their unique properties and market demands, which are influenced by the stock market.
These updated prices will guide the State Fund's transactions and calculations involving precious metals. They also provide a snapshot of the global stock market's influence on Belarus' precious metal economy.
