BC PNP Issues 485 Invitations to Skilled Workers and Entrepreneurs

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has extended a significant number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination this week. A total of 485 invitations were issued across two draws on October 2, 2025, targeting skilled workers and entrepreneurs.

The BC PNP's Skills Immigration category was the focus of this draw, with 474 invitations extended to skilled workers. To qualify, candidates needed to meet either the wage criterion (114 candidates) or the points criterion (360 candidates). Future draws may consider additional factors such as education, language proficiency, and intent to live and work in a specific region.

The Entrepreneur Immigration category also saw activity, with 11 entrepreneurs invited to apply through the Base Stream. This was the seventh draw of its kind held this year. Overall, in 2025, the BC PNP has issued 568 invitations through Skills Immigration and no more than 86 through Entrepreneur Immigration.

This week's BC PNP draws indicate a continued focus on attracting skilled workers and entrepreneurs to the province. With 485 invitations issued, the program remains a key pathway for immigration to British Columbia.
