Atlanata Ltd, IRCON Secure Rs 2,485 Crore Maharashtra Expressway Project

Atlantaa Ltd, in partnership with IRCON International Ltd, has secured a significant infrastructure project in Maharashtra, India. The Bhandara-Gadchiroli Access Controlled Expressway, developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Hybrid Annuity Model, is set to improve connectivity in the region.

The project, spanning 34.786 km from Sarandi Bk in Bhandara to Kinhi in Chandrapur, is valued at Rs 2,485 crore, plus applicable GST. Atlantaa Ltd's shares surged 20% following the announcement of this agreement on 1st October. The sub-contract with IRCON International Ltd for Package BG-03 was signed, with Atlantaa Ltd clarifying that the agreement is subject to IRCON receiving the final award from MSRDC.

As of October 2025, no official announcements have been made regarding the project director's name. However, the project director is typically appointed after the award of the contract and before construction begins. Atlantaa Ltd's shares ended 20% higher at Rs 46.38 on NSE on the day of the announcement.

The Bhandara-Gadchiroli Access Controlled Expressway, a key infrastructure project in Maharashtra, is progressing with Atlantaa Ltd and IRCON International Ltd as the primary stakeholders. While the project director's name remains unannounced, the project is expected to enhance connectivity and stimulate economic growth in the region.
