The hopeful sprit of craft businesses in Germany is gaining ground. As revealed by a report from the Central Association of German Crafts, expectations for the future are higher than they've been in a while. Holger Schwannecke, the association's general secretary, points out that the shift in government has ignited hopes.
"With the new coalition," Schwannecke notes, "Businesses yearn for administrative simplification, steady energy prices, and a favorable economic climate. Failure to implement these could undermine the cautious optimism that we're currently witnessing."
