Antares Metals Strikes 9km Copper System Up to 22.5% at Cromwell Prospect
Antares Metals Ltd (ASX: AM5) has made a significant discovery at its Cromwell prospect, unveiling a high-grade copper system stretching over 9 kilometres. The find, which includes remarkable copper grades up to 22.5%, represents a district-scale opportunity that has eluded previous explorers in the region.
Field geologists from Antares Metals identified a previously unrecognised mineralised area, returning 17% of samples above 2% Cu and 36% above 1% Cu. The system features multiple parallel shear zones (A, B, C, and D) extending up to 9km long and 30m wide. The company collected 81 rock chip samples, with exceptional results. Antares Metals plans further mapping, soil geophysical surveys, and airborne gravity/magnetics surveys to advance the Cromwell prospect.
The discovery's scale, grade, open potential, and overlooked opportunity make it an attractive prospect for investors. Antares Metals, with a current market capitalisation of $4.6 million and cash position of $1.3 million, is well-positioned to capitalise on this significant find.
