American Express Launches Blue Cash Everyday Card With 0% APR and Cash Back
American Express introduces the Blue Cash Everyday Card, a no-annual-fee option offering an introductory 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers for 15 months. It's designed for those with good to excellent credit, providing substantial cash back on common spending categories.
The card offers 3% cash back on up to $6,000 in spending per year at U.S. supermarkets, U.S. gas stations, and U.S. online retail purchases. After the first $6,000, the cash back rate drops to 1%. This is particularly beneficial for those who frequently shop at these locations.
Additionally, the Blue Cash Everyday Card offers a 'Buy Now, Pay Later' feature with no intro fees for the first 15 months. This allows cardholders to split purchases into four equal payments over four months, interest-free. New cardholders can also earn a $200 statement credit after spending $2,000 in purchases within the first six months.
The Blue Cash Everyday Card is a solid choice for those who spend significantly in the specified categories but may not be the best fit for heavy grocery spenders. American Express offers the Blue Cash Preferred as an upgraded option for such cases. As with any credit card, it's essential to understand and manage the terms and conditions to maximize benefits.
