Adani Green Energy's Gujarat Capacity Surges to 16,679.8 MW
Adani Green Energy Ltd has significantly expanded its renewable energy capacity in Gujarat. On September 30, 2025, Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Ltd commissioned a 50 MW solar power project and a 31.2 MW wind power project in Khavda, increasing the total operational renewable generation capacity.
The following day, another 50 MW solar and 31.2 MW wind project was commissioned at the same location, boosting the total capacity to 16,679.8 MW. This expansion is part of the Khavda renewable energy park, one of the world's largest clean energy clusters.
The surge in capacity follows the operationalisation of 112.5 MW of renewable projects in Gujarat earlier this month. This includes an 87.5 MW solar plant and a 25 MW hybrid plant. The increased capacity has led to a rise in Adani Green Energy Ltd's shares, which surged 2% to reach a day's high of Rs 1,078.80 on October 3.
With these new projects, Adani Green Energy Ltd's total operational renewable capacity has risen to 16,679.8 MW. The company continues to invest in and expand its renewable energy portfolio, contributing significantly to India's clean energy transition.
